The invitation

Take part in an experiment where quantum chance encounters centuries of combined human thought.

Early testers will help shape The Infinite through real-world Android testing before its first public release.

Accepted testers who install the testing version and provide genuine feedback will receive lifetime ad-free access to The Infinite, including future paid upgrades released as part of the core app.

A private question. A random passage.

If you ask a question that no one hears… where does the answer come from?

The Infinite brings genuine quantum randomness into a private moment of reflection. Hold a question, choice, problem, or possibility in your mind. Touch the screen, and a value (originating in quantum vacuum processes at The Australian National University) selects a single book from a vast library of tens of thousands of works, spanning literature, philosophy, religion, history, science, and more. Then, a different value, derived from the same source, chooses one passage from the tens of thousands possible in the book, and delivers it to you.

The app never hears your thought, studies your behaviour, searches for relevance, or manufactures an answer.

It merely allows you to reach out and access the wisdom already present all around us. It gives the invisible forces that govern our everyday lives a language. A voice to speak to us. A genuine way to listen out for—to seek—the universe’s subtle responses to our thoughts.

Coming soon for Android.

Learn how it works

Quantum chance chooses the place.
Human thought meets you there.

1

Hold a question

Your question stays entirely in your mind. There is no text box, microphone or recording.

2

Begin the reveal

Quantum-generated randomness selects a position across a collection of tens of thousands of works drawn from Project Gutenberg.

3

Read what appears

The words already existed—sometimes for centuries. One passage is revealed exactly where chance leads. Nothing is written or tailored for you.

4

Decide for yourself

You may find relevance, coincidence, reflection—or nothing at all. That judgement is yours alone.

From quantum signal to human words

A quantum event. A vast human library. One point of contact.

The Infinite draws randomness from a quantum source and uses it to select a location within a large collection of public-domain literature.

The collection is built from works preserved and distributed by Project Gutenberg: philosophy, fiction, poetry, history, science, religion and countless other records of human experience.

The quantum process does not understand the books. The books do not know your question. The meeting between them happens only once—and whatever it means is yours to decide.

Why quantum randomness?

The Infinite emblem, combining a purple infinity ribbon with a golden line and central point of light.

Built around clear limits

The Infinite does less on purpose.

It never knows the question

No question is entered, transmitted, stored or analysed.

It does not manufacture an answer

The passage is selected by chance, not generated to match what you are thinking.

It makes no supernatural claim

The app is an invitation to reflection, not a prophecy, diagnosis or authority.

Privacy

Your unspoken question remains yours.

The Infinite does not ask you to type, speak or submit your question. The app does not hear, record, transmit, store or analyse it.

The full policy explains local app storage, advertising, purchases, online services and early-testing information.
